What it fixes

• Your chess lives on a phone, not on a board. Play your Chess.com and Lichess games over real pieces, against millions of opponents at any level.
• Nobody at home plays at your level. The board itself is the opponent, with an AI you can set from first move to well past club strength.
• Lessons on a screen never reach the board. Lights under the squares show the possible move, the best move and the mistake, while you sit at the game.
• One of you is always too strong. Face to face, each player gets tips at their own level, so a beginner and a veteran enjoy the same game.
• A full-size board stays in the cupboard. 35mm squares, 8.7mm thin, two pouches and a stand. It travels in the bag you already carry.
• Smart boards run out of battery mid-game. Rechargeable over USB-C, 5 to 10 hours of play, and the pieces are magnetic so the position survives the journey.
